Rated 5 out of 5 by jonjohnoc Tandy and Cronyn Shine
This started off as play. Jessica Tandy swept the Best Actress awards that year. (Including her 4th Best Actress Tony Award!) Hallmark had the good sense to bring it to the screen. This is about an Appalachian woman who will not give up her land and retire. Hume Cronyn plays her husband (easy job for him) and John Denver as her son.
The show received 8 Emmy nominations including another award for Jessica (her only Emmy win).
