Don't Buy For Kids
My husband and I bought this for my son and he loved it. But one day he brought it to me and it wouldn't play anymore. I put in new batteries but that wasn't the problem. So if you feel like explaining to a teary eyed baby that their bear doesn't work, it's a definite buy. But otherwise, I wouldn't recommend it.

Cute, but terrible quality
Broke within a week of purchase. Would not play our recording anymore. Is now just the most expensive regular teddy bear i have ever purchased. Don't waste your money.

Can't handle hugs
My mom sent these to my kids as we live so far away. You had to hug the bear really hard to get it to talk and then after 3 months it stopped working and it's not the batteries I put fresh ones in it. My daughters bunny still works. Also I keep them on a shelf out of reach and get them down for special times and this bear couldnt even handle the short play times : ( very sad it's not a quality product!!!

My grandmother started with the books for my children as we live out of state. We call them 'Nana Books'. Then my 3 kids received 2 bunnies and a bear. These were extra special because both grandparents talked in the message. My grandfather passed away after Christmas. The bunnies just stopped playing, and I'm pretty sure we tried new batteries. The bear works still but it will go static-ickety and haywire, when played. I want them to sleep with them and love on their lovies, so it doesn't make sense for a stuffed animal to not be tough enough for that. This was the exact reason for the animals and it saddens me to not be able to hear his voice. My hope is that these can be sent for repair, and hopeful the recording is still there.

Until We Hug Again Bear
I got this bear for my grandson last year. He named it "Pickle Chips" My daughter and son-in-law recorded a message for him and he would play it all the time, until it quit working. When I found out it didn't work anymore, I ordered another one for him. He was so excited when he saw the new one. Thanks for making such an adorable toy.

Our grandson lives 3 hours away, we bought him this bear. He wears the batteries out listening to it every night. He is now 2 1/2 and he called us the other night to tell us his bear was broke!! We have to install new batteries and record a new message. Good excuse for a visit!!

Until we Hug Again Bear
We bought one the recording voice on it was so soft, my husband had to practically yell to get it to record then it was still hard for my son to hear. The voice box stopped working one day about a month after my husband left=:(
I exchanged it for a new one and when my husband came home and went to record the new one before he left again he had to yell into it again to get it to be loud enough so my son could hear it. I won't recommend the product....unless it's just us but two bears and they both are lemons!! What are the odds of that!

Purchased for grandsons, bad mistake
I purchased two of these for my grandsons for Christmas, I should have recorded them right after I bought them so I would know one did not work. I recorded them on Christmas morning and my older grandson's worked just fine but the younger ones' barely played when I recorded it and never played again.
